Change to Madesco Board

Chairman Tom O'Flaherty announced today, with regret, that Robert Small will be stepping down from the Board of Directors of Madesco Technologies Inc., effective May 31st, 2007.

"Recent increased demand on Robert's time at Daniels Electronics where he occupies the dual roles of President and COO simply did not leave the necessary capacity in his schedule for a full time board position. I know I speak for the entire board when I say we will miss his valuable input and commitment to our success. The board will now take the time to consider a number of candidates that could help fill Robert's technical contribution", continued Mr. O'Flaherty.

Mr. Small has however, graciously agreed to stay on as a technology and industry advisor to CEO Larry Cole. "I completely understand the position Robert finds himself in and feel fortunate that we are still able to draw from his experience's from time to time" commented Cole.
