Victoria, B.C. - Robert Small joins Madesco's Board of Directors.

Madesco Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Small to its Board of Directors effective November 27th, 2006.

Mr. Small is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Daniels Electronics Ltd, a North American leader in the design and manufacture of specialized radio communications equipment. In this role he provides strategic and operational leadership to support Daniel's success in the mobile radio industry. "I am delighted to further strengthen our board with Robert's experience in the radio communications industry," said Tom O'Flaherty, Chairman of Madesco's Board, "his breadth of knowledge and extensive industry contacts will further enhance the board's capability and bring tremendous oversight in areas such as P25, NAFTA and complex electronics manufacturing."

Mr. Small has over 25 years of experience with delivering high quality custom-radio communications products to international markets. Through a steady progression of management roles, encompassing Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Sales, he has achieved impressive revenue growth, groundbreaking product development and significant US product distribution networks. This success is due, in part, to his fostering of integral customer relationships with government and private industry, including the US Department of Homeland Security. He is a member of the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians, an active technical committee member with the US Telecommunications Industry Association for Digital Radio Standards and co-chairs the VIATeC CEO organization. He is also a member of IEEE Communications Society (COMSoC), the Radio Society of America (VE7FSN), and serves the community in various advisory/industry liaison positions with Camosun College and the University of Victoria.
